Investment options

BMA and index-linked bond

BMA is an index-linked bond and a form of long-term savings. This means that the index-linked bond/BMA is primarily intended to be held for the entire term.

Through an index-linked bond, you can combine the security of a bond or a bank deposit with market opportunities. Talk to your advisor!

Regardless of how the market(s) linked to the BMA perform during the term, the investor is guaranteed to receive repayment of all or part of the invested nominal amount at the bond’s maturity. The guaranteed repayment may be the amount originally subscribed or a percentage of that amount.

Warrants

Warrants

A warrant is an option that allows you to participate in the market with high exposure while paying a relatively small capital investment. This provides the potential for high returns but also involves significant risk.

A warrant is an option in the form of a security and can provide exposure to individual shares, a basket of shares, stock indices, currencies, commodities, and credit.

High Return Potential

By investing in warrants, you gain the opportunity for high returns relative to the relatively low capital investment. This is because the high exposure compared to the invested amount amplifies movements in the underlying market.

Good Exposure

Warrants give you the opportunity for exposure to a range of underlying markets such as shares, indices, commodities, and currencies.

Two Types of Warrants

We offer both listed warrants and market warrants.

Listed warrants are traded on the Oslo Stock Exchange and are as easy to trade as ordinary shares. Listed warrants are traded at the prevailing market price.

Market warrants are sold during a defined subscription period at a given premium amount (price per warrant). Market warrants are not listed on an exchange.

High Risk

Warrants can be highly volatile investments and should therefore be approached with caution. Price changes in the underlying market can cause large fluctuations in the value of your investment. In the worst case, the warrant may become worthless, resulting in the loss of the entire invested amount.

Exchange Traded Fund – ETF

An Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) is a fund consisting of shares and other securities with the purpose of tracking the performance of an underlying index. ETFs are traded in the same way as individual shares. In addition to trading in DNB Markets’ own ETFs, we also offer trading in other funds listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and a number of international exchanges.

Suitable for those who:

• Want cost-effective diversification

• Want highly liquid exposure to different markets

• Are not willing to take the risk of investing in individual companies

Risk:

Will vary among different ETFs as they are linked to various asset classes. The risk of the underlying instruments may also fluctuate over time. We therefore recommend that you familiarize yourself with the characteristics of each fund before trading.
