If you had a damage – what do you do now?
- Limit the damage as much as you can.
- Report it digitally
- Many have been affected by damages and we have to prioritise the hardest ones first. Therefore, there may be some waiting time.
Water damage
- Move valuables up from the floor or in waterproof containers.
- Turn off fuses for the flooded floor.
- Do not use electrical equipment that has been under water until the electrician has checked it.
- Document the damage with images or video.
- Ensure good ventilation when the weather permits it.
As a business owner or board of directors:
You have a duty to take preventive measures, such as clearing away from what is in the water.
Power outages
- Keep refrigeration and freezing systems closed to maintain the temperature.
- Contact an electrician in case of problems after a power outage.
- Do you smell or see discoloration in the fuse box? Call an electrician immediately.
For other help in the event of a power outage: contact the municipality.
Travel and delays
- The travel insurance can cover extra expenses for accommodation and travel if the carrier is unable to collect the itinerary within 24 hours.
- Please contact the carrier first.
- Cancellations are not covered.
