DNB innfører viktig endring for bedrifter

I takt med økt digitalisering og internasjonale krav til betalingsformidling, innfører DNB nå en viktig endring i hvordan kontoinformasjon og innbetalinger leveres til bedrifter. Fra og med 30. juni 2026 vil DNB kun støtte og distribuere filer i ISO20022 (XML)-format via kanalene DNB Connect / bedriftsnettbanken og DNB FileGateway.

Dette betyr at alle våre kunder og deres systemleverandører må planlegge overgangen for å opprettholde filleveranser og automatiserte prosesser.

Merk: For virksomheter med kontoer i Sverige gjelder egne frister:

• Utbetalinger: innen november 2025
• Kontoinformasjon og innbetalinger: innen 31. desember 2025
  

Bakgrunnen er innføringen av ny svensk clearing i 2026.

Hvorfor ISO20022 (XML)?

ISO20022 (XML) er en internasjonal standard som gir:

• Langt flere opplysninger enn eldre formater
• Økt automatisering og digitalisering av avstemming og regnskapsføring
• Sikrer støtte for regulatoriske krav og fremtidige endringer

– ISO20022 (XML) er allerede utbredt i Norge og internasjonalt. De fleste av våre kunder mottar allerede filer i dette formatet. Nå må alle ta steget, sier Edvard Øien, leder for Payments i DNB.

Merk: OCR-formatet fra Mastercard Payments Services vil fortsatt være tilgjengelig, men gir ikke fullverdig automatisk oppdatering av virksomhetenes systemer og anbefales ikke til nye kunder.

Siste frist for overgang til ISO20022

Ved usikkerhet om dagens systemer som benyttes for kontoinformasjon og innbetalingsmeldinger har støtte for å lese og prosessere ISO20022 meldinger, oppfordrer vi til å ta kontakt med aktuelle systemleverandører snarest for avklaring, og etablere en plan for overgang til ISO20022

For å sikre en smidig overgang, anbefaler vi følgende tiltak:

1. Kartlegg hvilke filformater som benyttes i dag til kontoinformasjon og innbetalingsmeldinger

2. Kontakt systemleverandøren for å avklare støtte for ISO20022 (XML) og meldingstypene:

• Camt. 053 for kontoinformasjon
• Camt. 054C for innbetalingsmeldinger

3. Planlegg og gjennomfør overgang til Camt. 053 (kontoinformasjon) og Camt. 054C (innbetalinger)

4. Oppgrader systemer eller anskaff konverteringstjeneste dersom dagens løsning ikke støtter ISO20022 (XML)

DNB is introducing an important change for companies

DNB is phasing out old file formats for account information and incoming payments. Here’s everything you need to know.

In line with increased digitalisation and international requirements relating to payment services, DNB is now introducing an important change to how account information and incoming payments are delivered to companies. From 30 June 2026, DNB will only support and distribute files in ISO20022 (XML) format via the channels DNB Connect / the corporate online bank and DNB FileGateway.

This means that our customers and their system suppliers must plan the transition in order to keep up their file deliveries and automated processes.

Note: There are separate deadlines for companies with accounts in Sweden:

• Outgoing payments: by November 2025
• Account information and incoming payments: by 31 December 2025

The reason for this is the introduction of new Swedish clearing infrastructure in 2026.

Why ISO20022 (XML)?

ISO20022 (XML) is an international standard that provides:

• far more information than older formats
• increased automation and digitalisation of reconciliation and accounting
• support for regulatory requirements and future changes

“ISO20022 (XML) is already widely used in Norway and abroad. Most of our customers already receive files in this format. Now everyone needs to make the change,” says Edvard Øien, head of Payments in DNB.

Note: The Mastercard Payments Services OCR format will still be available, but it doesn’t offer a full automatic update of companies’ systems and is not recommended for new customers.

From 30 June 2026, DNB will stop supporting and distributing older file formats for account information and incoming payment messages via our customer channels, DNB Connect / the corporate online bank and DNB File Gateway. “We recommend that everyone who is still using old formats for account information and incoming payment messages makes a concrete plan for the transition to the new file format as soon as possible,” says Edvard Øien, head of Payments in DNB.

If you’re unsure whether the current systems used for account information and incoming payment messages support reading and processing ISO20022 messages, we recommend that you contact relevant system suppliers as soon as possible to clarify this matter and establish a plan for the transition to ISO20022.

What you need to do

To ensure a smooth transition, we recommend the following measures:

1. Map the file formats used today for account information and incoming payment messages

2. Contact the system supplier to clarify support for ISO20022 (XML) and the message types:

• camt. 053 for account information
• camt. 054C for incoming payment messages

3. Plan and carry out the transition to camt. 053 (account information) and camt. 054C (incoming payments)

4. Upgrade systems or procure a conversion service if your current solution doesn’t support ISO20022 (XML)
