Asia has long been one of our key investment regions
Since we first opened our office in Hong Kong in 1994, we have built investment competence in the region, taking a special interest in small and mid-cap companies. We opened a local presence in India a few years later, in 1997. We believe it is necessary to be close to the companies we invest in, especially in the under-researched small cap space.
Three funds form the core of our Asian fund range. Our Asian Small Cap fund launched back in 1994, and relies heavily on primary research. In 2007 came the India fund and the China Century fund and they share philosophy with the Asian Small Cap fund. The fund managers run high conviction portfolios and conduct a large number of meetings with investment targets every year.
