The University of Bergen
The University of Bergen (UiB) is Norway's ocean university, and their ocean scientists are world leading. They describe One Ocean Conference as an unique opportunity to share their knowledge of the ocean and contribute to exploring, preserving, exploiting, and sharing the goods of the ocean as the common heritage of humankind.
The Institute of Marine Research
The Institute of Marine Research (IMR) is one of the largest marine research institutes in Europe. Their main activities are research, advisory work and monitoring.
The IMR will be a leading supplier of knowledge relating to the sustainable management of the resources in our marine ecosystems, and the whole food chain from the sea to the table.

Bergen Municipality
Bergen Municipality contributes to facilitating One Ocean Week, which One Ocean Conference is part of. One Ocean Week is an annual meeting place for debate, exchange of experience and experiences related to a sustainable use of the ocean.
Through conferences, meetings, activities and culture, different actors will highlight how to create the ocean we need for the future we want.

Through collaboration, partners in Maritime CleanTech realize breakthrough technologies for establishing new green value chains for energy production and distribution, implementing greener fuels onboard vessels in all maritime segments, and demonstrating cleaner technologies for both existing and emerging industries. Amongst others, this has led to the realization of the world’s first all-electric ships and hydrogen vessels.
