DNB Europa Indeks is an index-tracking equity fund that gives broad exposure to the European stock market.

  • Passively managed

  • Index-tracking equity fund

  • Broad exposure to the European stock market

You can buy DNB Europa Indeks using a computer or in the Spare app.

DNB Europa Indeks is passively managed, i.e. the aim is to mirror the return of the fund’s reference index, MSCI Europe Index.

Investing in DNB Europa Indeks gives broad exposure across sectors in the European stock market. When a mutual fund is “index-following”, it means it tries to invest in the securities that the reference index is composed of, so that, as far as possible, the fund is a reflection of it, albeit with a few inconsistencies.

Companies that perhaps do not satisfy DNB’s responsible investment guidelines will be kept out of the fund’s investment remit.

Minimum purchase amount is NOK 100.

Passive management

Passive management (index-based management) involves the mutual fund’s investments following a specific reference index. Since the index fund, among other things, does not have managers trying to generate better returns than the index, the costs are lower than for actively managed funds.

Historical returns are no guarantee of future returns. Future returns will depend, among other things, on market movements, the skill of the Portfolio Manager, the fund’s risk level, as well as administration costs. The return may also be negative as a result of mark-to-market losses.

Equity fund

Equity funds are suitable for people who want to save for more than six years and who can tolerate volatility in value in the meantime.
