  • Fondets mål er a generere langsikig kapitalvekst ved hjelp av eksponering mot selskaper hjemmehørende i frontier markeder over hele verden. Fondet vil investere minst 75 % av forvaltningskapitalen direkte eller indirekte i aksjer eller aksjerelaterte verdipapirer (herunder blant annet ADR og GDR) i selskaper som er hjemmehørende i froniermarkeder, eller som har en betydelig del av sin økonomiske aktivitet der. Fronier markeder defineres som mindre utviklede og mindre tilgjengelige vekstmarkedsland som er inkludert i fronier markeder indekser. Fondet kan også investere i land som er klassifisert som vekstmarkeder, samt alle andre markeder som ikke er klassifisert som fronier markeder i dag.
