NB! This year’s Christmas present goes to Mental Helse Ung (Youth Mental Health)
According to Opinion’s latest Youth report, mental health is the issue closest to young people’s hearts. At the same time, many young people say they are lonely and struggle.
We are removing the «D» in our logo, to remind us of a more important matter than a bank; that many people feel lonely, are struggling and finding things difficult. 1 in 5 young people don’t have a close friend they can trust (MHU, 2022).
This year’s Christmas gift from DNB therefore goes to Mental Helse Ung. The gift of NOK 1 million goes to their important work on increased transparency about mental health, the prevention of mental disorders and a better mental health service.
Help Chat
Among Mental Helse Ung’s important low-threshold offerings is Help Chat. Young people can get in touch here if they need someone to talk to. The subject of the conversation varies from loneliness, depression, and suicidal thoughts to anxiety, love and identity.
