Become a corporate customer with a private limited company

A private limited company (AS) is a type of company in which the owners have paid in a certain sum, called share capital, and their personal financial liability is limited to this amount. The company is a separate legal entity, separate from the owners, and can enter into agreements, have rights and obligations of its own. The shares can be bought and sold, which gives flexibility in ownership.

You can apply to become a corporate customer by clicking on "Start application with BankID" and filling out the application form at the top of this page. Make sure you have all the necessary documents ready before you start the application process.

The documents you need:

• Updated shareholder register
• If there has been a change of ownership in the company, we also need a signed purchase contract

We use BankID to verify you as a person, and your role in the company. If you do not have BankID or are having log-in problems, get in touch with our customer service on +47 915 04800.

When the application is processed, you will be asked to sign a business agreement. You’ll get access to your account shortly after this.

You can find the account number when logged in to your online bank. You must log in via the corporate online bank or the full version on the phone the first time you log in. You will find the account number in the account summary.

After you have submitted your application, a case officer will contact you to confirm the information and possibly ask for more details. The application will then be processed.

What happens if I cannot answer the call from the case officer?

The case officer will try to contact you multiple times. Either by phone or email. You can also contact the case officer yourself at nybedriftskunde@dnb.no. It is important that you write which company it applies to in the subject field.

You will first receive an email stating that you have received a secure message from us. You will then receive a new email with a one-time password. This password is used to log in and see the email. When you have logged in, you can reply directly to the email and attach any documentation. Your answer will then also be encrypted.
