Important information about eFaktura (eInvoice)
Reminder of transition to eFaktura 2.0
On 01.12.2021, the industry decided to phase out eFaktura 1.0, also known as JTTB – ja takk til bestemte (Yes please to the one specified). From 15.5.2022 there is also a requirement for eFaktura recipients to have given JTTA consent (JTTA – ja takk til alle (yes please to all)) to receive eFaktura. The changes will come into effect before 18.5.2022 and include all banks.
This means that as an issuer and/or submitter of eFaktura B2C payment demands, and if you’re still sending eFaktura 1.0, you must change the format to eFaktura 2.0.
What the change means
All eFaktura requests based on the JTTB functionality for users that have not consented to JTTA will be rejected from the eFaktura coupling unit. After 18.05.2022, active JTTB customers without JTTA consent will no longer be able to receive eFaktura payment requests.
eFaktura issuers’ submissions of eFaktura requests to customers that have not accepted and registered JTTA consent in the coupling unit will be rejected.
It will still be possible for issuers to send requests based on JTTB functionality to users who have consented to JTTA.
If users deactivate a JTTA consent after the change, users will no longer receive any eFakturas. Issuers will then have to find other distribution channels to submit invoice requests to users.
